A CHILD rape victim has today opened up about the horrendous abuse she suffered at the hands of her own father.
The brave woman - who we will call Robyn - was just six years old when her torment began. 
Only now, as an adult, is she breaking her silence on the extent of her trauma in a bid to encourage more young people to seek help.
Her harrowing account comes as the NSPCC launches its #LightupforChristmas campaign, backed by The Daily Mirror , which aims to help Childline reach the young people who are hanging up or logging off before they can speak to them.

The problems began for Robyn after she asked to stay with her dad at the weekends following her parents’ divorce.

But instead of the loving home she hoped for, she walked into years of horrific abuse, manipulation, and self-blame.
“Daniel (my dad) started to rape me during the visits to his house,” she told The Hull Daily Mail .
“I remember going to sleep on the sofa and then waking up naked with him on top of me. He was raping me and I cried and he told me off for crying.”
